Ossian was built in 1880 as a rather splendid private home and has been our special home since 1972.
We have modernised the six bedrooms somewhat with ensuite showers/baths, colour televisions, radios, direct-dial telephones and tea and coffee making facilities.
Obviously, we love it. Set in a beautiful village, it is a place to escape from the routine and pressures of everyday life. You can be as active or as lazy as you like; within a six mile radius you can walk, ride, golf, sail, fish, birdwatch, go gliding or when snow cover allows, try skiing or snowboarding.
The hotel has permits for salmon and trout fishing on both the River Spey and Loch Insh from either the bank or the hotel boat.
3 DOUBLE ROOMS with ensuite bathroom.
1 TWIN ROOM with ensuite bathroom.
1 SINGLE ROOM with ensuite bathroom.

Cots, highchairs and baby listening are also available.
45 bed and breakfast per person per night; children up to 5 no charge; 5-10 20; 10-15 25.
